AN ADVOCATE

Each year, there are approximately 12,000 calls to Cuyahoga County’s child abuse hotline that lead to investigation. Of those calls, approximately 3,000 are reports of child sexual abuse.

Canopy Child Advocacy Center is Cuyahoga County’s only center for abuse victims that is specifically designed to meet the needs of those children.

The support of policymakers in our community is critical to our ability to provide services. You can help ensure that the children of Cuyahoga County grow up in safe and nurturing environments, free from harm and abuse, by being an advocate for Canopy.
